Tibouchina Purple Star PBR is an eye catching shrub bred from the parents, Tibouchina Alstonville and Tibouchina Jazzie. This dense and fast growing beauty is covered several times a year in very deep iridescent purple flowers. Peak flowering is in autumn and spring. New growth foliage has an attractive bronze hue.

Bred here on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Hibiscus Popsicle PBR has been developed to tolerate a wider range of Australian climates. It also resists diseases normally associated with other Hibiscus varieties and produces a lovely golden yellow/orange flower with a central veining in a watermelon colour.
