After flowering, green spherical fruit can form giving off an aroma attracting possums and the like. Melicope rubra Blush PBR is a fast growing tree that is a perfect inclusion in backyards and community areas. It is known to attract many insects and butterflies, including the Ulysses and Orchard Swallow Tail butterflies.
